The quiet winter landscape is enhanced by the cool colours. There are few shapes; the field of snow, the mountains, a patch of trees and sky. The abstract quality of the image hints at realism. There are only two vertical green shapes. The format and remaining shapes are horizontal. The distant mountains create depth. This is a digital painting using only virtual oil paint with traditional painting techniques on textured canvas. The painting has my initials on the front. I also sell images of my art on items.
